Thanks NZ

After spending most of January in Aoteroa, the memories are still strong even though the tan is fading. An amazing country that has given me so much. Thanks NZ...

...for beautiful rugged, natural beaches and sand all over the place. Trying to clean sand off a wriggly baby is a fun new past-time - without fail some of it ends up in the bed.

...for kickass coffees in kickass cafés. The flat white is an awesome invention.

...for Wellington, which has some gorgeous city runs and bike rides over the city's coastal roads, hills, trails. It also has a shitload of wind.

...for being easy going. Compared to uptight Euro-land, NZ is a breath of fresh air; or, if you are in Wellington, a hurricane of fresh air.

...for great family friends who know how to make a pom like me feel welcome.

...for a lovely wife and son who have taught me many things and who I am missing dearly.
